ilena lucida is the stage name of lucy isabela valdez (born june 17, 2011), a transgender woman from austin, texas. she is influenced by the 2000s internet, design, and general culture, 1990s vhs and cassette culture, and other selected concepts. in addition, the influences and style of her music comes from lucy's in depth, and visceral connection to music, including shoegaze, downtempo, idm, ambient, dream pop, vapourwave and many more.
